Monday Mischief: Cinco’s Agility Debut!!!

Last Friday, Cinco made his agility debut, and boy did he rock out!!  We just did two classes, Tunnelers and Touch N Go (focuses on contact obstacles), and Cinco was just awesome.  His 2o2o contacts were perfect, he nailed the tunnel/A-frame obstacle discrimination, he ran his little tail off, and most importantly, he had an absolute blast!  I am so very proud of the little batman and can’t wait to trial him again.  😀

Join in the Monday Mischief fun … many thanks to Snoopy’s Dog Blog, Alfie’s Blog, My Brown Newfies, and Luna, A Dog’s Life for hosting this fun blog hop.

    Yay Cinco!!

You rock buddy!! Great job – those ribbons look perfect on you!!

Glad you’re having so much fun,

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  5. Gosh, thanks for dropping by, we have spent a bit of time going over your posts and you are quite the exciting group.

  6. Well done, Cinco! You’re an inspiration for all the little four-leggers who have yet to give agility sports a try 😀

  7. He looks great with those ribbons! Sounds like a really great, successful debut!

  8. Way to go Cinco!! Great job!

  9. Wowserz!! Look at all those ribbons!! Wanna share?

    Seriously… that’s totally awesome! 😉

    Woofs & hugs, ❤

    ~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)

    • Thanks, Bailey! And Cinco would love to share, I am sure — the treats are more important to him than those silly ribbons anyway, I think. 🙂

  10. Yay!!! Congratulations on your ribbons!!! Good for you Cinco!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug

  11. That little batman (love the nickname) looks pretty big in that picture! Sounds like he did an awesome job and I’m sure you did, too. Love the picture with all those ribbons and his look as if to say, “Let’s GO! What’s next??”

    • He is actually bigger than I thought — he might measure into the 12″ division instead of the 8″ as I had pictured! The batman (gotta love his bat ears) played hard and I am finally feeling more confident and capable as a handler. 🙂 So thank you! And that little guy is always on the go lol!

  12. I love how the ribbons are bigger than he is.

  13. Wow you GO Cinco!! Look at those beautiful ribbons you earned! You sure look proud and happy, and we’re proud of you too! 🙂

  14. Go Cinco! Congratulations on your pretty ribbons! Not bad for a first trial!

I love all the unique courses there are in different parts of the world. I wish CAANS trials had tunnelers and Touch n Go, they sound like to much fun!

    • Thanks, Kristine! I was so happy with how he did – I went into that ring just hoping that he would have a positive first experience and was surprised and thrilled when he focused and tried his darnedest! 🙂

We just play NADAC for now but hopefully we will try some other venues in the future, as you said, there are some pretty awesome courses out there!

  15. Whooo way to go! That’s awesome! I bet you two will go really far, I don’t know if i will ever get around to doing agility trials with Luna.. but I do want to do more of it as a means of working her brain.
    Keep up the good work

    • Thanks so much, Anna! We really appreciate your kind words — hopefully we will do big things but most importantly we play this game to have fun together. Good luck with Luna if you ever try trialing – I am sure that she would do great!!

  16. Woohooo! Great job!!

  17. Cinco looks great with that ribbon. Congrats Cinco 🙂
