The Bichon Sisters <3

"Where are you going?"

I just got back from a great mini-vacay in Cleveland.  The weekend was filled with family, BBQ cookouts, first pool swims of the summer, and celebrations (my grandpa just turned 81!).  While the rest of the pack stayed at home with Justin, Miss Evee joined me for the trip and enjoyed having a special weekend all to herself.  My parents and sisters also drove up to C-Town and brought little Callie.  Most of the pictures from this trip are of human family members and massive amounts of food, but I managed to snap this picture of the “Bichon sisters” with my phone before Evee and I headed back to Virginia.  Normally my grandparents can’t tell the two of them apart, but on this trip, it was easy to see who was who (“Why is Evee’s tail orangeDid she eat too many carrots?”).  Hope that you all had an equally wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

🙂

And here’s a video that I just uploaded of Miss Callie … my sister taught her to “sing”!

  1. Too cute! Those ears! Glad you had fun in Cleveland.

  2. Such a great picture…and the video 🙂

  3. Evee,

You’re just too cool, it sounds like you had a great adventure and special time with your Mum 🙂

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂

  4. Welcome back to the blogosphere!

Oscar thought he was seeing double, but quickly realized Evee is the lovely lady on the right. 😀

  5. It sounds like you had a great holiday. Lovely photo of the two cuties…I knew that Evee’s orange tail will be useful one day! 😛
As for Miss Callie, what a talented girl. We’ve got a singing dog qualified in the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent. I’ll watch him carefully to see if he’s a better or a worse singer than Callie 😉

    • Some people don’t like “yappy little dogs”, but I think her “singing” is precious! She loves to howl to sirens and along to “Happy Birthday”, which is quite hilarious. Sounds like she has some competition, though!!

  6. Aww, Evee and Callie look inseparable. I bet those two had a good time gossiping about all the family members and trading beauty secrets! It sounds like it was a fun weekend for all 😀

    • Callie is one of the few dogs that Evee will really romp around and play with. They are quite cute together and they definitely had a great weekend, as did the rest of the family. Hope you had a great weekend as well. 🙂

  7. What a fun weekend. Love Miss Callie’s concert!

  8. Very nice, glad you had a good time. Was Miss Evee tired? I know Sampson and Delilah are passed out!

    • She was tired after she ran around and did the “Bichon Blitz” with Callie a few times!! Glad to hear that Sampson and Delilah had a great weekend as well.

  9. Sounds like a great trip! Those Bichon sisters are just too cute! We had a similarly fun weekend, and Daisy is making up for it now, snoozing on the sofa. 🙂

    • It was a great trip! I bet that Daisy would fit in perfectly with the little Bichon pair. 🙂 And glad to hear that you all had a fun weekend!

  10. Family weekends are the best. Glad you enjoyed your long weekend.

Little Callie singing was so cute!

    • We definitely had a great time and I loved catching up with the family. Glad you liked little “singing Callie” and hope that you had a nice weekend as well!

  11. Well now, that video got the 2 brown dawgs attention. They came running over to the computer and couldn’t quite figure out what that dawg was doing. 🙂

The picture of the sisters is very cute!
