5 Days: Double the Trouble.

The Merle Monsters

Diesel and Kylie’s motto is “Double the trouble, double the fun”.  The two of them are a little team of merle tornadoes.  They’re bigger, faster, stronger, smarter together (or so they think).  Anyway, lately I have been trying to get them to perform some of their tricks together.  I think synchronized dog tricks are hilariously awesome because instead of one dog to try and work with, you’ve got two.  I made this video a little over a month ago to document our first attempts at double dog tricks.  We’ve since made progress but I haven’t yet recorded it … So until then, this will have to do.  Hope you enjoy it!  🙂

Im looking forward to that next video. This one Rocks!!

  2. Kylie and Diesel are fantabulous! I think they make a stunning duo. I’m also becoming amazed by the talent of your pupsters as I learn more and more about them.

    • Thanks so much!! You are too kind. I really do love trick-training and while I enjoy training all of the dogs, Diesel and Kylie are my favorite pupils because they are always so excited and eager to learn new things.

  3. Your training is just wonderful. Loved the early video and as Sara said, can’t wait for the next one!

  4. Fabulous video – I don’t know how you manage to train TWO dogs so well! Really impressive.

    • Thanks!! The difficult part of trying to train two dogs at the same time is handler timing – knowing who to reward and when, when and if you should repeat the command, and adjusting to different learning curves. It’s fun to try and make it work! 🙂

  5. Double dog tricks? (Ponders the possibilities…takes an aspirin. 🙂 ) The video is great…nicely done! Well trained dawgs!

  6. Diesel and Kylie even LOOK somewhat alike despite the difference in coloring! The only tricks Oscar knows how to do is eat, sleep, walk and poop. LOL!

    • They definitely do look similar, once you look past the ears and the tails (unfortunately Kylie doesn’t have one lol)! And hey – Oscar knows everything a dog needs to know and more … You forgot to mention that he’s a great writer (I intercept all of his love letters to Evee and proofread them before I let her see them…) 😛

  7. Oh, yes, I enjoyed it allright. More, please! And I completely agree with Diesel and Kylie’s motto 🙂

  8. That’s super cute. I am thinking of trying to get Chester and Gretel to do synchronized tricks. Two is always cuter than one 🙂

  9. Hey Guys

You sure are talented, you’re putting me to shame 🙂 Very impressive, can’t wait to see the improved version – way to go!

    Your pal Snoopy 🙂
